I’ve only recently gotten into this fandom, and I’m only almost done with season 1, but from what I’ve seen so far Ava is fucking flawless. Not only does she not take any shit from the men in her life, she gets what—and who—she wants, even if it takes a while. Not to mention how strong of a person she is to have survived what she has. I have a lot of admiration and respect for women who go through similar things irl.
